Tobacco Free Policies

In an effort to assist mental health providers and organizations, Project Integrate! would like to provide examples of model policies to help in the transition of becoming a tobacco-free facility.

Sample Policy - Riverview Psychiatric Center
The Riverview Psychiatric Center, in collaboration with the community, is a center for best practice, treatment, education and research, for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

The Acadia Hospital is a nonprofit psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment provider serving the people of Maine.

Sample Policy - Kennebec Behavioral Health
is dedicated to improving the lives of children, adults, and families in Central Maine who experience mental illness, trauma, and emotional or behavioral problems. The Center provides a continuum of high quality, innovative, community-based prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
